The ABC is set to deliver DIARY OF AN UBER DRIVER, a new six-part Australian dramedy, on Wednesday 14 August at 9.30pm on ABC and iview. The first production from breakout producers Revlover, this honest and heartfelt series follows Uber driver Ben (Sam Cotton) as he tries to figure out what he should be doing while helping others get where they’re going.
Against the ticking clock of impending fatherhood, Ben is trying to negotiate his relationship with Beck (Zahra Newman), the mother of his child. He must decipher what being ‘relevant’ looks like in a relationship that seems to think he’s surplus to requirements. Luckily, he has a revolving car door of human behaviour to trawl through for clues.
